"I'm a second-class Christian now—divorced people don't get the same access or blessing."
How it sounds in your head: I see the married deacons, the intact families leading worship, the guys still on their first marriage serving in leadership. That's not me anymore. There's a glass ceiling now, an invisible barrier between me and full acceptance. I'm tolerated, not celebrated.
"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus."
-- Galatians 3:28Source: Religious hierarchy that creates tiers of believers based on circumstances rather than Christ's finished work.
Church structures often exclude divorced men from leadership, creating a real experience of being 'less than.' When opportunity is denied, the lie feels like documented fact.
A prostitute who betrayed her own city became part of Israel and the direct lineage of Jesus Christ. God didn't create a 'former prostitute' class—He made her a matriarch and listed her in Hebrews 11's Hall of Faith.
I REFUSE the lie that I am second-class in God's kingdom. IT IS WRITTEN that there are no tiers in Christ—I am ONE with every believer, with the same access, the same inheritance, the same standing. My position is IN CHRIST, not in my marital status. IT IS WRITTEN that I am seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus RIGHT NOW—that's first-class seating, and divorce didn't change my ticket. The BARAK blessing doesn't have fine print excluding the divorced. I am fully accepted, fully empowered, fully qualified by the blood of Jesus, and I walk in that authority TODAY.
The Father doesn't have VIP sections and general admission. Every son has the SAME access to His throne, the SAME authority in His name, the SAME inheritance. You're not tolerated—you're celebrated, and He's preparing assignments that fit who He made you to be.
