"I'll die alone—this loneliness is my portion until the end."
How it sounds in your head: You picture your final days in a room by yourself, maybe with a nurse checking vitals but no hand to hold. The thought of dying without a companion, without someone who chose you and stayed, fills you with dread and resignation.
"Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you."
-- Deuteronomy 31:6Enemy's prophecy of isolation and rejection planted as inevitable fate.
You've watched friends pass away, seen the patterns, and the loneliness feels like a slow, creeping verdict already written. Hope feels like denial when every year adds evidence to the sentence.
Enoch walked with God, and then he was not, for God TOOK him—he didn't experience death alone or abandoned. He walked so closely with God that God just brought him HOME, straight into presence, no separation, no loneliness, only intimacy with the One who never leaves.
I REFUSE the lie that I will die alone or that loneliness is my portion. IT IS WRITTEN that the Lord my God goes WITH me—He will NOT leave me nor forsake me. I am NEVER alone, not in this moment and not in my final breath. IT IS WRITTEN in Hebrews 13:5 that He has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you'—that's not a maybe, that's a PROMISE. I am under the Abrahamic blessing, which means I am surrounded by favor, companionship, and divine presence. The Father is not distant or detached—He is running toward me, holding me, walking every step with me. My latter days are covered in His goodness, and whether He brings human companionship or wraps me in His presence alone, I am NOT FORSAKEN.
The Father doesn't see you as a woman facing the end alone—He sees you as a woman He's walking WITH, hand in hand, breath by breath. And whether He brings you a companion for these final years or simply makes His presence so tangible you never feel alone, you are HELD, SEEN, and LOVED every single moment.
