THE LIE Loneliness & Isolation

"I'll die alone with no one who truly cares about me in my final days."

How it sounds in your head: Everyone is gone or will be soon. My children are busy with their own lives. I'll take my last breath in some facility with strangers around me. No one will hold my hand when it matters most.

IT IS WRITTEN Deuteronomy 31:8

Enemy whispers: You'll die alone and forgotten. BUT IT IS WRITTEN: Deuteronomy 31:8 - 'The LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.' He goes BEFORE you into every moment, including your last breath. You cannot arrive anywhere He hasn't already prepared. Your final moment is ALREADY filled with His presence.

Why this feels true:

Friends have passed away, spouse may be gone, children visit less frequently due to their obligations. The mirror shows increasing frailty and dependence on others becomes daily reality.

Enoch

Enoch walked with God in such intimacy that God simply took him—he never experienced death alone because God was SO present. The same God who walked with Enoch in his final moment walks with you NOW and will walk you home.

I REFUSE the lie that I will die alone! IT IS WRITTEN that He will NEVER leave me nor forsake me—not in strength, not in weakness, not in my final breath. My God goes BEFORE me into every moment I fear. IT IS WRITTEN that nothing can separate me from His love—not death, not life, not angels, not principalities. I am NEVER alone because I am the dwelling place of the Most High. The same presence that filled the temple fills THIS temple. I am Abraham's seed and HEIR according to promise—the BARAK blessing surrounds me now and into eternity.
