"I'll be stuck in retail or food service forever because my degree is useless."
How it sounds in your head: I spent four years and took on debt for this degree and I'm still folding clothes for $13 an hour. My friends with 'practical' majors are already in careers while I'm asking people if they want to open a store credit card. I made the wrong choice and now I'm paying for it forever.
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."
-- Jeremiah 29:11Source: World system that values certain careers over others and measures worth by market utility rather than divine design and calling.

Peter fished ALL NIGHT and caught NOTHING—complete professional failure in his own trade. Jesus showed up, told him to try again, and Peter caught so many fish the nets were BREAKING and he had to call for help. He went from empty nets to net-breaking abundance in ONE MOMENT.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm stuck in the wrong career forever. IT IS WRITTEN that God has thoughts of peace toward me, to give me a FUTURE and a HOPE. My current job is not my identity or my destiny. I am Abraham's seed, blessed coming in and going out, and the Lord commands blessing on everything I set my hand to. IT IS WRITTEN that He makes ALL things work together for good to those who love Him. My degree, my experience, my season of waiting—ALL of it is being woven into something greater. The same God who gave Peter net-breaking catch after a night of nothing is giving me SUDDEN BREAKTHROUGH. My Joseph moment is coming.
The Father doesn't see you as stuck—He sees you as POSITIONED for a sudden shift. While you're folding clothes, He's folding breakthrough opportunities into your path, and the skills you think are wasted are actually being refined for something you can't see yet.
