"If I receive too much, God will take it away to teach me a lesson."
How it sounds in your head: Every time something good happens, something bad follows. It's like God doesn't want me to get too comfortable or happy. He'll take it away if I get too attached or too blessed.
"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning."
-- James 1:17Religion: Cruel God theology that makes Him the author of loss and suffering as discipline.
She's experienced loss after blessing and interpreted it as God's intentional pattern rather than life in a fallen world or enemy attack.
God asked Abraham to sacrifice Isaac (but provided the ram and STOPPED him), then immediately MULTIPLIED the blessing—'I will GREATLY bless you and GREATLY multiply your descendants.' God doesn't take away—He INCREASES.
I REFUSE the lie that God takes away blessings to teach me lessons. IT IS WRITTEN that every good gift comes from the Father with NO VARIATION—He doesn't play games with His children's blessings. The THIEF comes to steal; Jesus came to give ABUNDANT LIFE. IT IS WRITTEN in Romans 11:29 that the gifts and calling of God are IRREVOCABLE. The BARAK blessing isn't seasonal or conditional—it's PERMANENT. I am BLESSED, KEPT, and MULTIPLYING. God is not taking—He is ADDING.
The Father isn't dangling blessings like a test. He's pouring them out like a flood because He's a GOOD Father who gives GOOD GIFTS to His daughters without taking them back.
