"If I had more faith, God would heal this disability."
How it sounds in your head: Others get healed. You've prayed for years. Maybe you don't believe hard enough. Maybe there's unconfessed sin. Maybe you're doing something wrong, and that's why you're still like this.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast."
-- Ephesians 2:8-9Source: Religious teaching that puts healing on YOUR faith instead of HIS finished work, making you the problem instead of pointing to the enemy or God's mysterious timing.
You've seen the healing testimonies, read the verses, prayed the prayers. When nothing changes, the only variable left seems to be you—your faith must be defective.
Called blameless and upright, yet God allowed catastrophic suffering including physical disease. Job's faith didn't prevent suffering, but God restored DOUBLE what was lost—proving blessing isn't about avoiding hardship but about God's ultimate faithfulness.
I REFUSE the lie that my disability proves defective faith. IT IS WRITTEN that faith itself is a GIFT from God, not something I manufacture to twist His arm. Paul had a thorn. Timothy had stomach issues. Trophimus was left sick. Were they all faithless? NO—they were apostles who raised the dead. God's healing timeline is HIS sovereignty, not my failure. IT IS WRITTEN in Romans 8:28 that ALL things work together for good for those who love God—even this limitation has purpose I may not see yet. I am righteous by GIFT, healed by covenant, blessed by the BARAK that never depended on perfect faith. I am not defined by what hasn't happened yet.
The Father isn't withholding healing because you didn't pray right or believe hard enough—He's already given you Jesus, and with Him comes EVERYTHING. If the answer is 'not yet,' it's not because you failed. It's because He's got purposes beyond your sight.
