"If I give money away now, I won't have enough for things I need later."
How it sounds in your head: I'm saving for a phone, clothes, summer camp. If I give some away, I'll never reach my goal. It feels like I have to choose between being generous and having what I need, and that's not fair.
"And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
-- Philippians 4:19Source: enemy teaching scarcity instead of abundance, making provision a zero-sum game instead of supernatural multiplication.
Savings goals require accumulation, and any outflow mathematically delays reaching the target. Giving feels like moving backwards when you're trying to move forward.
Elijah had NO source of income or food during a famine and drought. God sent RAVENS—scavenger birds—to bring him bread and meat TWICE A DAY, every day, supernatural provision with zero human effort or planning.
I REFUSE the lie that generosity creates lack. IT IS WRITTEN that my God supplies ALL my need according to HIS riches, not according to my savings account. I am not operating in scarcity—I'm under the BARAK blessing where I am the head and not the tail, blessed in my coming in and going out. IT IS WRITTEN that when I give, it's given back to me pressed down, shaken together, running over. Elijah was fed by RAVENS during a famine—if God can command birds to provide, He can certainly get me the phone, clothes, or camp I need. My provision flows from the VINE, not from hoarding. Giving is seed, and seed always produces harvest.
The Father isn't watching you give away your future—He's RUNNING toward you with resources you haven't even asked for yet. Like the prodigal who came home to abundance he didn't earn, your needs are already met in the Father's house before you even articulate them.
