"If I can't have babies someday, it means God doesn't love me as much"
How it sounds in your head: I see families at church and wonder if God has favorites. What if I'm not one of them? What if He gives babies to everyone else but not me when I grow up?
"For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
-- Romans 8:38-39Religious lie suggesting God's love is conditional and measured by external blessings, rooted in performance-based theology.
She's learning to measure love by what she receives rather than who God is. The world teaches her that good things happen to good people, so lack equals God's disapproval.
She had no son and her husband was old, a hopeless situation. Elisha prophesied she'd hold a son within a year, and it happened exactly as promised—instant decree, immediate conception, no waiting period beyond natural timing.
I REFUSE the lie that God's love depends on my ability to conceive. IT IS WRITTEN that nothing can separate me from the love of God in Christ Jesus—not infertility, not miscarriage, not medical reports, nothing. His love was proven at Calvary, not in a delivery room. I am loved because I am His, period. IT IS WRITTEN that He works all things together for my good because I am called according to His purpose. I don't earn love through fertility; I receive babies because I'm already loved. The BARAK blessing flows from relationship, not reproduction.
The Father isn't measuring His affection by your reproductive system. He's running toward you with the same love that raised Jesus from death—complete, unchanging, fierce, and free.
