"If God were real, He would have answered my prayers by now and proven Himself."
How it sounds in your head: You prayed for something important—maybe for your parents' marriage, or to take away anxiety, or for a sick relative. Nothing happened. If God is real and good, why didn't He show up when you needed Him most?
"The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles."
-- Psalm 34:17Enemy: Making God's silence feel like absence, turning unanswered prayer into evidence of non-existence.
You prayed sincerely, desperately, and saw no change. Meanwhile, you see other people claim God 'answered' trivial prayers. The silence feels like abandonment or proof He's not listening.
Mary and Martha sent urgent word 'Lord, the one You love is sick,' expecting immediate healing. Jesus DELAYED two more days, letting Lazarus die—apparent non-answer. Then Jesus showed up and raised him from the dead—God's 'delay' resulted in a GREATER miracle than what they asked for.
I REFUSE the lie that God's silence means He's not real. IT IS WRITTEN that the Lord HEARS and DELIVERS—delay isn't denial; it's setup for something greater. Mary and Martha thought Jesus didn't care because He delayed; He was actually planning a RESURRECTION, not just a healing. IT IS WRITTEN that before we call, He answers—God was moving before I prayed. I'm under the BARAK blessing—Abraham waited 25 YEARS for Isaac, but the promise didn't fail. The Father isn't ignoring my prayers; He's setting up answers that are bigger than what I asked for, and His 'not yet' is about timing, not love. The breakthrough I'm begging for is already in motion.
The Father heard your prayer the moment you whispered it, and He's been working on the answer ever since. He's not making you wait to test you—He's preparing something so good that the delay will make perfect sense when you see what He was setting up all along.
