"If God was going to heal me, He wouldn't have let me get this bad first."
How it sounds in your head: You're not just sick—you're VERY sick. Multiple conditions, medications piling up, mobility severely limited. If God was going to heal you, wouldn't He have stopped it before it got this severe? The fact that He let you deteriorate this far means healing isn't coming. You're too far gone.
"Martha said to Jesus, 'Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.' Jesus said to her, 'Your brother will rise again.'"
-- John 11:21-23Belief that severity of condition determines likelihood of healing, making God's power proportional to problem size.
Your medical chart is thick with diagnoses. Each specialist adds another condition. The decline has been progressive and undeniable, which feels like God's passive permission for permanent limitation.
Not just dead but FOUR DAYS DEAD—body actively decomposing, Martha protested the smell. Jesus called him out anyway, and Lazarus walked out of the tomb fully alive, instantly restored from literal rotting death.
I REFUSE the lie that my condition is too severe for God's healing power. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus raised Lazarus after FOUR DAYS of decomposition—my multiple diagnoses are NOTHING compared to rotting death. God doesn't need to catch it early—He specializes in IMPOSSIBLE cases. IT IS WRITTEN with God NOTHING is impossible. The worse my chart looks, the GREATER His glory when He moves. I am a branch in the Vine, and LIFE flows through me regardless of medical severity.
Your Father isn't intimidated by your thick medical chart—He's positioning you for a testimony that will make doctors weep and scientists stammer. Every 'too far gone' diagnosis is just setup for a greater resurrection story.
