"If God really loved me, He would have answered by now instead of making me wait."
How it sounds in your head: A loving God wouldn't let me suffer this long without an answer. The silence means He doesn't care. If He loved me, He'd have moved already.
"The Lord your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing."
-- Zephaniah 3:17Enemy using delay as false evidence of God's lack of love, twisting silence into rejection.
Decades of waiting while watching others get quick answers feels like personal rejection. Pain and unanswered need make every day of silence feel like proof of God's indifference.
Jesus LOVED Lazarus, yet when He heard Lazarus was sick, He STAYED where He was for TWO MORE DAYS. Lazarus DIED. The delay looked like abandonment. But Jesus raised him from the dead—turning the delay into a GREATER miracle that revealed God's glory. The wait wasn't rejection; it was setup for resurrection.
I REFUSE the lie that God's delay means He doesn't love me. IT IS WRITTEN that He REJOICES over me with SINGING right now, in this moment, in this waiting. Jesus let Lazarus DIE because He loved him—the delay wasn't abandonment but setup for resurrection. IT IS WRITTEN that nothing can separate me from the love of God—not time, not delay, not unanswered questions. The cross PROVES His love permanently. The BARAK blessing isn't conditional on timing. His love is settled, certain, and singing over me this very second.
The Father isn't making you wait because He doesn't care—He's like the father who'd been watching the road EVERY DAY for the prodigal's return, who RAN when he finally saw him. The wait doesn't mean He wasn't looking; it means the reunion will be WORTH every moment of longing.
