"If God really cared, He wouldn't make me wait this long."
How it sounds in your head: People who love you don't make you beg and wait. If your parents really cared, they'd answer right away. Why would God be different? This waiting proves He doesn't care about your pain.
"The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit."
-- Psalm 34:18Enemy twists delay into proof of uncaring Father, making you interpret patience as punishment instead of preparation.
When you're hurting, every day feels like forever. Loving people respond quickly to pain, so waiting feels like abandonment.
Jesus deliberately WAITED two extra days while Lazarus died, and Mary and Martha wept thinking He didn't care. Then He raised Lazarus from FOUR DAYS DEAD—proving the delay was for GREATER GLORY, not lack of love.
I REFUSE the lie that waiting proves God doesn't care. IT IS WRITTEN that He is near to the brokenhearted—not distant, not ignoring, but NEAR. I am under the covenant blessing where God Himself dwells WITH me. The BARAK blessing means I am blessed coming in and going out, even in the waiting. IT IS WRITTEN that nothing can separate me from His love. Delay is not denial. The Father who RAN to the prodigal is running to me. My breakthrough is not late; it's being perfected for greater glory.
The Father is closer in your pain than you realize—He's not making you wait to punish you but positioning you for a testimony. Like Lazarus's family, you'll see that the 'delay' was for RESURRECTION-level breakthrough.
