"If God blesses me financially, people will judge me, think I'm fake, or accuse me of prosperity gospel."
How it sounds in your head: If I talk about God's provision or actually have money, people will think I'm one of those greedy TV preachers. Maybe it's safer to stay quiet and struggle.
"The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it."
-- Proverbs 10:22Fear of man and religious culture that demonizes visible blessing while celebrating visible suffering.
He's seen wealthy Christians mocked online and 'prosperity gospel' used as an insult. Admitting God blesses financially feels risky - like he'll be labeled fake or shallow by both Christians and non-Christians.
The Queen of Sheba came to see Solomon's wealth and wisdom, and his ABUNDANCE didn't repel her - it drew her to praise God. Solomon's visible prosperity became a testimony, not a stumbling block.
I REFUSE the lie that God's financial blessing on my life will bring judgment or make me a target worth avoiding. IT IS WRITTEN in Proverbs 10:22 that the blessing of the Lord makes rich and adds NO SORROW - including the sorrow of others' opinions. Solomon's wealth drew the Queen of Sheba to praise God. Abraham's riches testified to covenant. The Father threw the prodigal a public party despite the older brother's judgment. IT IS WRITTEN that the fear of man is a snare, but whoever trusts the Lord is safe (Proverbs 29:25). I'm blessed under the BARAK with the blessing of Abraham. God's provision through me testifies to HIS generous nature, and I won't apologize for what He freely gives.
The Father isn't embarrassed by blessing you visibly. He loves when His abundance on your life draws others to wonder about the Source - your provision is a testimony to His goodness, not a liability to manage.
