"I wore crystals for healing—I trusted created things instead of the Creator."
How it sounds in your head: I wore those crystals for years, believing they had power. I put my faith in rocks instead of God. That's idolatry, and God punishes idolaters. Maybe my health is bad now because I sought healing from stones instead of from Him.
"As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us."
-- Psalm 103:12Religious teaching that God withholds healing as punishment for past idolatry.
Romans 1:25 talks about worshiping creation rather than Creator, and current illness feels like divine payback for trusting wrong sources. The contrast between past crystal use and current pain seems causally connected.
God actually COMMANDED them to make a bronze serpent and look at it for healing—using a created object for healing by GOD'S design. Later, when they worshiped the serpent itself (2 Kings 18:4), Hezekiah destroyed it, but those who had looked at it were still healed. God didn't retroactively curse them.
I REFUSE the lie that crystal use disqualified me from healing. IT IS WRITTEN: As far as east is from west, God has removed my transgressions. My past ignorance does NOT determine my present access to healing. Jesus bore my sickness at the cross regardless of where I used to seek wellness. IT IS WRITTEN: By His stripes I am healed, and that truth doesn't have an asterisk for past idolatry. The BARAK blessing includes health, and no past mistake cancels covenant promises. God is not punishing me—He is HEALING me.
The Father isn't keeping your crystals on file as evidence against you—He's celebrating that you're looking to HIM now for healing. He's not withholding health to teach you a lesson; He's running toward you with wholeness in His hands.
