"I wasted my inheritance or savings and don't deserve another chance at provision."
How it sounds in your head: You literally squandered what was given to you—inheritance, retirement savings, opportunities. You're the prodigal who blew it all. You had your chance and you wasted it. God doesn't just keep giving to people who throw it away.
"But the father said to his servants, 'Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet.'"
-- Luke 15:22Source: religion's 'reaping and sowing' twisted into karma + older brother mentality that measures fairness.
He can see the bank statements, the empty accounts where money used to be. The religious voice says God's not a cosmic ATM for irresponsible people, and fairness demands consequences.
He demanded his inheritance early (disrespectful), spent EVERY PENNY on prostitutes and wild living (immoral and foolish), and came home broke and smelling like pigs. The father didn't say 'You blew your chance'—he RAN to him, threw a party, and FULLY RESTORED him in about fifteen minutes with robe, ring, sandals, and fattened calf.
I REFUSE the lie that wasted resources disqualify me from provision. IT IS WRITTEN that the father gave the best robe to the son who blew everything—not because he deserved it but because he was STILL A SON. I am a blood-bought son of the Most High, and my Father doesn't operate on fairness; He operates on GRACE. The BARAK blessed Jacob even though he was a deceiver who stole his brother's blessing through lies. IT IS WRITTEN in Romans 8:32 that He who gave His Son will freely give me ALL THINGS. My Father is running toward me with restoration, not keeping score of what I wasted.
Your Father isn't saying 'You had your chance and blew it.' He's saying 'I've been watching for you, and I'm throwing a party because you're HOME.' The ring, the robe, the sandals—full restoration—is already prepared for you RIGHT NOW.
