"I was into astrology and horoscopes—I worshiped creation instead of Creator and cursed myself."
How it sounds in your head: It seemed harmless, reading my horoscope, checking my birth chart. But I was seeking guidance from stars instead of God. Now I wonder if I'm under some cosmic curse for idolatry.
"For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
-- Romans 8:38-39Religious condemnation about idolatry and self-imposed curses through 'wrong worship.'
Scripture warns against worshiping creation, and she did exactly that for years. The condemnation feels biblically justified.
Israel built a golden calf and declared 'These are your gods who brought you out of Egypt'—direct idolatry at its worst. Moses interceded, and God RELENTED from destroying them and continued the covenant. Instant mercy, not permanent curse.
I REFUSE the lie that astrology cursed me with cosmic judgment. IT IS WRITTEN: Nothing—not height, not depth, not any created thing—can separate me from the love of God in Christ Jesus. My misdirected worship didn't break the Father's grip on me. I am not cosmically cursed—I am BLOOD-BOUGHT. IT IS WRITTEN: Jesus took every curse so I could receive the blessing of Abraham. The BARAK covers me NOW—not because I worshiped correctly, but because Jesus worshiped perfectly. I am forgiven, restored, and held secure.
Your Father isn't tracking your horoscope history—He's writing your future in HIS book. Like Israel, who worshiped a golden calf yet remained in covenant, you are still His beloved daughter, held by love stronger than any star.
