"I was greedy and God is punishing me through these losses."
How it sounds in your head: I got too comfortable, wanted more when I should have been content. This is God's judgment on my materialism. I loved money more than Him and now I'm paying for it.
"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus."
-- Romans 8:1Religious condemnation turning market correction into divine punishment, denying the finished work of the cross.
He did desire more wealth and felt good about growing accounts. The losses came right after a season of financial pride, making it feel like cause and effect—like God is teaching him a lesson.
Jacob manipulated, deceived his father, stole his brother's blessing through lies—and God didn't punish him. Instead, God WRESTLED with him, blessed him, and renamed him ISRAEL. The blessing stayed on a schemer because covenant isn't performance-based.
I REFUSE the lie that God punishes His children through financial loss. IT IS WRITTEN that there is NO condemnation to those in Christ Jesus—not less condemnation, NONE. Jesus took ALL punishment for ALL sin at the cross. The enemy comes to steal—God comes to give abundant life. IT IS WRITTEN that He came not to condemn but to save. I am righteous by GIFT, not by financial humility lessons. The BARAK blessing covered liars and deceivers—how much more does Christ's blood cover me?
The Father sees you believing the lie that He's angry at your ambition, and it breaks His heart. He's not withholding because you wanted too much—He's the God who gives ABUNDANTLY above all you ask or think. While religion says 'you're being disciplined,' He says 'let Me restore double.'
