"I was a mistake. My parents didn't plan me or want me."
How it sounds in your head: You hear the argument they had about being pregnant. You've seen the wedding photos—you do the math and realize you came before the marriage. You feel like the reason everything's been hard for them.
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations."
-- Jeremiah 1:5Enemy twisting conception timing to attack divine purpose and identity from the womb.
The dates don't lie—you were conceived before marriage or when money was tight. Maybe you overheard a comment about 'if we'd waited' or saw stress on their faces during childhood you now understand was about providing for an unplanned baby.
Born from Abraham's faithless attempt to force God's promise through Hagar—literally a mistake, wrong woman, wrong method. God still saw him in the desert, named him, blessed him with 12 princes, and made him into a great nation despite being 'Plan B.'
I REFUSE the lie that I was a mistake or that my existence was an accident. IT IS WRITTEN that before I was formed in the womb, God knew me and sanctified me. My parents' timing may have been off, but God's timing was PERFECT. I was planned from eternity, ordained for purpose, and every breath I take is intentional. IT IS WRITTEN that I am fearfully and wonderfully made, and God doesn't make mistakes. I carry the BARAK blessing—the same blessing that covered Isaac when Sarah laughed in unbelief, and Jacob who was grabbed mid-birth. My origin story doesn't define my destiny—God's plan does.
The Father saw you before sperm met egg, planned your eye color and laugh and the exact moment you'd wreck the world with His glory. He's not cleaning up after a cosmic accident—He's unfolding a masterpiece He designed before time began.
