"I was a mistake and burden from the start—my parents never wanted me."
How it sounds in your head: You've lived sixty-plus years knowing you weren't planned. Your mom said it herself once when she was angry. You were the 'accident' that trapped them. Everything that followed—their struggles, their resentment—that's on you. You've been apologizing for existing your whole life.
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations."
-- Jeremiah 1:5Enemy assignment from birth to steal identity and purpose before you could walk.
Maybe your parents actually said you were unplanned, or their actions showed resentment. You've carried the weight of feeling like an inconvenience for decades, and it's shaped every relationship—always trying to prove you deserve to take up space.
Jephthah was the son of a prostitute, rejected by his family, thrown out and told 'you're not getting any inheritance—you're the son of another woman.' God made this 'unwanted mistake' the mighty deliverer of Israel and listed him in Hebrews 11 Hall of Faith.
I REFUSE the lie that I was a mistake or unwanted. IT IS WRITTEN that before I was formed in the womb, God knew me and sanctified me. My parents' plan doesn't override Heaven's plan. I was wanted by the Father before time began. IT IS WRITTEN that I am Abraham's seed and heir according to the promise—the BARAK blessing is mine by covenant, not by my parents' intentions. I am no accident. I am no burden. I am a wanted son with a destiny carved in Heaven before I took my first breath.
The Father saw you before your parents ever met—He orchestrated your arrival because creation needed YOU. He's been running toward you since the moment you were born, robe and ring in hand, shouting 'This is My beloved son in whom I am well pleased.'
