"I used to have energy but those days are gone forever. It's too late for me."
How it sounds in your head: You had your chance in your thirties and forties. You didn't take care of yourself well enough, and now you've missed the window. Other people might have vitality at your age, but you made too many mistakes. You can't get those years back.
"So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust."
-- Joel 2:25Condemnation spirit disguised as regret, using past choices to disqualify you from present promises.
You can point to specific decisions—late nights, poor diet, stress—that seem to have consequences you're living with now. Other men your age who were athletes seem fine, and you weren't, so it feels like you earned this fatigue.
After Samson's greatest failures—lust, compromise, capture, blindness—his hair began to grow again, and his strength returned. In one final moment, he had MORE strength than ever, killing more enemies in his death than in his entire life.
I REFUSE the lie that my past stole my future vitality. IT IS WRITTEN that God RESTORES the years the locust has eaten—not based on my choices but on His nature. I am not disqualified by yesterday's decisions. IT IS WRITTEN that there is NO condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. Like Samson, whose strength returned after his greatest failures, I receive RESTORATION of energy, vitality, and strength RIGHT NOW. The Father isn't punishing me for past neglect—He's running toward me with the robe of renewed vigor. I am blessed with the blessing of Abraham, which operated EVEN when he lied. My energy is restored THIS MOMENT.
The Father doesn't have a chart of your past mistakes determining your present access. He has a cross that obliterated all of it, and He's giving you the fattened calf while you still smell like the pig pen of past regret—restoration FIRST, not after you prove anything.
