"I tried spiritual warfare once and nothing happened so it doesn't work for me"
How it sounds in your head: I prayed against my anxiety and it came back the next day. I commanded fear to leave and still had nightmares. Maybe spiritual warfare works for other people but not me—maybe I'm doing it wrong or I'm not anointed enough.
"And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart."
-- Galatians 6:9Performance-based theology measuring God's faithfulness by instant visible results
She prayed once, saw no change, and internalized failure. Church testimonies are always dramatic instant breakthroughs, making her 'failure' feel like proof she's spiritually defective.
Jesus prayed for him once and he saw 'men like trees walking'—partial healing. Jesus prayed AGAIN, and then he saw clearly. Even Jesus' ministry showed progressive breakthrough sometimes, not always instant.
I REFUSE the lie that one 'failed' prayer means warfare doesn't work for me. IT IS WRITTEN that I shall reap if I do not lose heart—the promise is WHEN, not IF. Jericho walls stood firm for six days; that doesn't mean the march was ineffective—it means breakthrough was BUILDING. IT IS WRITTEN that I am more than a conqueror through Him who loved me—not 'I'll try to be,' I AM. The BARAK blessing didn't work sometimes and fail sometimes—it was COVENANT, constant regardless of circumstances. I stand in faith, I enforce victory, and I don't measure God's faithfulness by what I see today.
The Father isn't grading your spiritual warfare like a failed science experiment—He's watching you learn to walk in authority, and every declaration builds even when you don't see it. The prodigal's father was scanning the horizon LONG before the son showed up; your breakthrough is coming, and the Father's already running.
