"I talk too much about my problems; I need to stop bothering people with my feelings."
How it sounds in your head: When I try to tell Mom what's wrong, she says she's too tired. My friends change the subject when I talk about hard stuff. I heard someone say I'm 'high maintenance.' Maybe I should just keep things to myself.

The people around her are either too busy or too uncomfortable to hold space for her struggles. She's interpreting their limitations as proof that she's too much.
Bartimaeus cried out to Jesus, and the crowd told him to be quiet and stop bothering the Teacher. He cried out EVEN LOUDER, and Jesus stopped, called him over, and healed him immediately—persistence in bringing your need to Jesus is REWARDED, not rejected.
I REFUSE the lie that my needs are too much! IT IS WRITTEN that I can cast ALL my cares on Him because He cares for me—there's no quota, no limit, no 'too much' with God! When people say I'm high maintenance, they're revealing their capacity, not my value. IT IS WRITTEN in Philippians 4:19 that God shall supply ALL my needs according to His riches in glory—including my need to be heard, held, and understood! I am not a burden to my Father. He runs toward me when I'm overwhelmed, not away from me!
The Father never checks His watch when you're pouring out your heart. He doesn't have a limit on how many times you can come to Him with the same struggle, and He never, ever labels you high maintenance—He calls you beloved, and He's leaning in to listen.
