"I started thinking about my future too late to matter"
How it sounds in your head: All the kids in youth group talk about their college funds and savings accounts their parents started when they were babies. My family doesn't have that. I feel like I'm already behind before I even started, and there's no way to catch up now.
"So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust."
-- Joel 2:25World system of time-based wealth building that denies supernatural acceleration
She compares herself to friends whose families have more financial planning and resources. She's heard adults say 'start saving young' so many times that starting at 11 feels late.
Workers hired at 5pm, who only worked one hour, received the exact same full day's pay as those who worked since dawn. The master gave based on his generosity, not their hours worked.
I REFUSE the lie that I started too late or that I'm behind. IT IS WRITTEN that God restores the years the locust has eaten, and I haven't lost a single moment in His kingdom economy. I receive supernatural acceleration right now. IT IS WRITTEN that the BARAK blessing is mine through Christ, and it made people wealthy in moments, not decades. I am not building my future on time and compound interest - I'm building it on my Father's generosity. He gives the last workers the same as the first. I am a branch in the vine, and fruit doesn't require years of striving.
Your Father isn't checking your start date. He's already running toward you with provision that has nothing to do with how long you've been planning or saving, just like He gave the prodigal the ring and robe before he'd proven anything.
