"I should save what little energy I have for important things, not waste it."
How it sounds in your head: Every activity costs me. I have to ration my strength like money in a bank account. If I use it up on something trivial, I won't have enough for what really matters. I must be careful, strategic, hoard what little I have left.
"And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
-- Philippians 4:19Scarcity mindset applied to physical energy, viewing God's provision as limited resource rather than flowing river.
She experiences real physical limits—one conversation exhausts her for hours. The fatigue is measurable, undeniable. Stewardship seems wise, and wastefulness seems foolish when resources feel finite.
She had only enough flour and oil for one last meal before starvation. Elijah told her to make him bread FIRST (seemingly wasteful). She obeyed, and the flour and oil NEVER RAN OUT—daily supernatural supply that didn't depend on her rationing but on God's promise.
I REFUSE the lie that I must hoard energy like a miser. IT IS WRITTEN that my God supplies ALL my need according to HIS riches in glory—and His riches don't diminish. I am not a closed system running dry; I am a branch in the VINE with continuous flow. IT IS WRITTEN in Deuteronomy 28:8 that the Lord COMMANDS the blessing on my storehouses—that includes my physical strength. The BARAK blessing flowed to Abraham even when he wasted resources foolishly; how much MORE does grace supply me abundantly in Christ? I spend energy freely, knowing Heaven refills what I release. Supernatural vitality is mine NOW.
The Father isn't watching your energy gauge with concern—He's an infinite fountain pouring INTO you continuously. Like the prodigal's father who killed the FATTENED calf (extravagant, 'wasteful' celebration), God doesn't operate from scarcity but lavish abundance for His children.
