"I should have invested differently—my current lack proves I missed God's financial plan for me."
How it sounds in your head: Other women your age have nest eggs, savings, security. You made wrong choices—wrong investments, wrong priorities, wrong guidance. If you'd followed God's plan better, you wouldn't be in this position. Your lack is proof you missed it.
"For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable."
-- Romans 11:29Source: Religion's teaching that poverty equals missing God's will, combined with enemy's accusation that current circumstances prove past disobedience and disqualification.
Comparing her financial position to peers who seem secure makes her current dependence feel like consequences of wrong turns. The lack feels like report card proving she failed God's financial test.
Abraham made catastrophic financial and moral decisions—went to Egypt during famine (leaving Promised Land), LIED about Sarah being his sister, put her in Pharaoh's harem to save himself. This should have destroyed him. Instead, God PLAGUED Pharaoh, defended Abraham the liar, and Abraham left Egypt RICHER than when he arrived—the blessing couldn't be stopped even by terrible choices.
I REFUSE the lie that wrong financial choices disqualified me from God's blessing. IT IS WRITTEN that His gifts and calling are IRREVOCABLE—I cannot lose what He PROMISED. Abraham made disastrous decisions and left richer. Jacob deceived his way into blessing and God said 'he SHALL be blessed.' The BARAK over Abraham's seed is mine by COVENANT, not by perfect investing. IT IS WRITTEN in Joel 2:25 that God RESTORES what was lost—not what I stewarded perfectly. I am blessed coming in and going out, the head and not the tail. My current provision is not report card on past choices—it's evidence of PRESENT COVENANT. I receive supernatural supply NOW.
Right now your Father isn't reviewing your investment history with disappointment—He's running toward you with RESTORATION for every wrong turn, PROVISION for every missed opportunity. Abraham's terrible choices couldn't stop the blessing, and yours can't either because it's based on HIS COVENANT, not your perfect decisions.
