"I should be grateful for what health I have instead of asking for more."
How it sounds in your head: So many people have it worse than you. Stop being greedy and ungrateful. Learn contentment with your current condition. Asking for complete healing is presumptuous. Be thankful you can still function.
"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases."
-- Psalm 103:2-3Religious guilt that baptizes resignation as gratitude, making desire for wholeness 'ungrateful greed.'
She does see people suffering more and feels guilty for wanting better when she's 'not that bad.' Church culture has equated wanting more with ingratitude.
All ten lepers were COMPLETELY healed—not partial healing, not 'better than before,' but totally cleansed. Jesus didn't heal nine partially and one fully. The standard was COMPLETE RESTORATION for everyone, instantly, on their way.
I REFUSE the lie that wanting complete healing is ungrateful. IT IS WRITTEN He heals ALL my diseases—not some, not the worst ones, ALL. Psalm 107:20—He SENT His word and healed them. That word was sent for COMPLETE healing, not management of symptoms. IT IS WRITTEN Jesus went about healing ALL who were oppressed by the devil—His standard is wholeness, not partial improvement. Gratitude doesn't mean settling for less than covenant promises. The BARAK blessing is abundance, not minimums. 3 John 1:2—His will is I prosper in ALL things and be in HEALTH. I receive complete, total, perfect healing in every area NOW.
The Father isn't offended by your desire for complete healing—He's the One who GAVE you that desire by promising it. While religion shames you for wanting 'too much,' He's saying 'I heal ALL your diseases, not some.'
