"My metabolism will slow down and I'll gain weight as I mature"
How it sounds in your head: My mom is always on diets and says her metabolism died after having kids. Older girls talk about weight gain constantly. Everyone says you have to work harder to stay thin as you age. I'm scared my body will betray me and I'll have to fight it forever.
"Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's."
-- Psalm 103:5Source: World system that treats bodies as enemies to control instead of temples to steward in rest.
Every woman around her is dieting, complaining about weight, and blaming age. The cultural obsession with thinness combined with universal stories of metabolic decline makes it seem like scientific fact.
They were slaves eating slave rations for 400 years, yet God exalted them and made them MULTIPLY. They left Egypt strong enough to march across a desert—supernatural health despite terrible conditions.
I REFUSE the lie that my body will betray me with age. IT IS WRITTEN: He satisfies my mouth with good things so my youth is RENEWED like the eagle's. My body is not my enemy—it's a TEMPLE. Metabolic dysfunction is a CURSE. Christ redeemed me from every curse. I am blessed in my basket and kneading bowl. IT IS WRITTEN: The Lord will command the blessing on my storehouses. The BARAK covers my metabolism—I have divine regulation, not dysfunction. I don't strive to produce health—I'm a branch CONNECTED to Jesus and health flows through me. My body is wonderfully made and functions exactly as Father designed. I am at PEACE with my body because I am at peace with my Creator.
The Father is running toward you declaring your body is GOOD because He made it, and He's not waiting for you to earn His approval through the right size jeans. He's already crowned you with lovingkindness and renews your youth like the eagle's—metabolism included.
