"I should be grateful for any opportunity because people like me don't usually get them."

How it sounds in your head: Adults tell me I'm 'so lucky' to be here. They talk about how hard it was for them so I should appreciate everything. I feel guilty for wanting more or for being unhappy. I'm supposed to be grateful just for being allowed in the room, even if I'm treated differently once I'm there.

Ephesians 3:20

"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us."

-- Ephesians 3:20
Enemy whispers: Be grateful for scraps—you're lucky to be included. BUT IT IS WRITTEN: Ephesians 3:20—God does EXCEEDINGLY ABUNDANTLY ABOVE all you ask or think. You're not 'lucky'—you're CHOSEN. God doesn't give His daughters crumbs and call it favor. The BLESSING OF ABRAHAM is FULLNESS, not tokenism. You're not here to be grateful for less—you're here to EXPECT MORE because your Father owns it all.
Quick Truth: LIE: Be grateful for crumbs. TRUTH: God gives exceedingly abundantly—Mephibosheth got it all (Eph 3:20).

World system of tokenism, enemy using scarcity mindset to make her accept crumbs as feast.

Why this feels true:

Adults around her genuinely believe they're teaching humility and perspective. She hears stories of limited opportunities in previous generations and internalizes that she should expect less and be grateful for it.

2 Samuel 9:7-13
Mephibosheth

Mephibosheth was a crippled outcast who expected nothing. David didn't give him a 'lucky opportunity'—he INSTANTLY restored ALL Saul's land, gave him a permanent seat at the king's table, and treated him like a son. Grace doesn't do tokens.

Speak this out loud

I REFUSE the lie that I should be grateful for crumbs. IT IS WRITTEN that my God does exceedingly abundantly above all I ask or think. I carry the BLESSING OF ABRAHAM—fullness, overflow, and more than enough. I am not 'lucky' to be included—I am CHOSEN to lead. IT IS WRITTEN that I am an heir of God and joint-heir with Christ—I inherit EVERYTHING, not leftovers. I expect the fullness of what my Father promised. I don't settle for tokens.

But God actually:

The Father didn't fight for you to sit in the back of the room—He fought for you to own the building. He's not offering you a 'lucky break'; He's handing you KEYS with your name already engraved.
