"I said 'the universe will provide' instead of crediting God and practiced idolatry without realizing it."
How it sounds in your head: You talked about 'manifesting' and 'aligning with the universe.' You shared gratitude posts thanking 'the universe' for blessings. You didn't name Jesus. You called prayer 'sending intentions out.' You practiced new age spirituality and called it positive thinking. Now you realize you were worshiping CREATION instead of the CREATOR. You committed idolatry—possibly for YEARS—and didn't even know it. How much did you miss God's blessings because you credited the universe?
"That they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, for 'In him we live and move and have our being'; as even some of your own poets have said, 'For we are indeed his offspring.'"
-- Acts 17:27-28Religion—condemns imperfect language rather than celebrating a seeking heart
She genuinely used that language before she knew better. She has social media posts that make her cringe now. She was seeking something transcendent but didn't have the vocabulary for GOD yet. Now she wonders if God withheld blessings because she didn't credit Him correctly. She's embarrassed by her old posts and fears she was in actual rebellion.
The Samaritan woman worshiped on the wrong mountain, in the wrong place, with confused theology for YEARS. Jesus didn't condemn her past worship; He offered her LIVING WATER on the spot. One conversation corrected years of misdirected worship. She went from confused worshiper to instant evangelist. No process. No shame. Immediate acceptance.
I REFUSE the lie that imperfect language disqualified me from God's blessings. IT IS WRITTEN that God wanted me to seek Him, even to FEEL MY WAY toward Him, and He was never far from me—even when I called Him 'the universe.' IT IS WRITTEN that I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. My fumbling words didn't offend the Father who knows my HEART. He saw through my language to my SEEKING. I walk in the BARAK blessing of Abraham—blessed not because my theology was perfect but because His COVENANT is. My past posts don't define my present position. I am HIS. I always was. Now I just know His NAME.
The Father sees you like the Samaritan woman—not condemned for worshiping in the wrong direction but CELEBRATED for your thirsty heart. One revelation corrected years of confusion. He wasn't withholding while you used wrong words; He was DRAWING you closer until you recognized His voice, and now He's celebrating the recognition.
