"I posted racist things online. I'm canceled. There's no redemption for that in today's culture."
How it sounds in your head: Screenshots exist forever. I was ignorant and cruel. Even if I've changed, the internet never forgets. One background check and everything I've built will collapse. I deserve to be canceled.
"Having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross."
-- Colossians 2:14World's cancel culture merging with enemy's strategy to make past ignorance a life sentence, blocking her from the very transformation Jesus specializes in.
The posts are archived. Cancel culture has destroyed people for less. She genuinely holds different beliefs now but knows apologies get rejected. The cultural moment says some sins are unforgivable.
Paul didn't just post offensive content—he actively MURDERED people from a different group, held coats while Stephen was stoned, dragged Christians to prison. One encounter with Jesus and he became the greatest missionary, writing half the New Testament. His past violence didn't disqualify him; it amplified his testimony.
I REFUSE the lie that my past ignorance disqualifies me from God's purposes. IT IS WRITTEN that God has wiped out every handwriting against me and NAILED IT TO THE CROSS—including screenshots. Paul went from murdering people to writing Scripture; my old posts are not beyond redemption. IT IS WRITTEN in 2 Corinthians 5:17 that I am a NEW creation; old things PASSED AWAY. Cancel culture doesn't get the final word—the blood of Jesus does. I am not defined by my worst moment but by His BEST gift: grace. I am FORGIVEN, TRANSFORMED, and equipped to bring reconciliation.
The Father isn't keeping receipts of your old posts. He's running toward you with SANDALS for the feet that will now walk as a peacemaker, bringing the very healing and unity that your past words destroyed. He's making your mess your MESSAGE.
