"I need more deliverance before I can walk in freedom and victory"
How it sounds in your head: I've been through deliverance ministry, but I keep hearing about deeper levels—soul ties, inner healing, ancestral sins. Maybe I need another session, a more experienced minister, a more thorough cleansing. I can't fully walk in victory until I've dealt with every hidden thing. I'm always one more deliverance session away from breakthrough.
"Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed."
-- John 8:36Religious teaching that makes freedom a process you earn through repeated spiritual procedures instead of a finished work you receive.
When struggles persist, it seems like evidence you haven't been fully delivered yet. The 'layers of deliverance' teaching creates an endless treadmill of seeking more ministry.
This man had a LEGION of demons—thousands—lived in tombs, cut himself with stones, broke every chain. One encounter with Jesus, and INSTANTLY every demon was gone. Jesus didn't schedule follow-up deliverance sessions or inner healing appointments—the man was immediately clothed, in his right mind, and sent out as a missionary.
I REFUSE the lie that I need more deliverance. IT IS WRITTEN that if the Son makes me free, I am free INDEED. I am not partially delivered, awaiting more ministry—I am COMPLETELY free in Christ. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty, and His Spirit lives in me. IT IS WRITTEN that I am a new creation; old things passed away. I don't need another session or another level—I need to walk in the freedom Jesus ALREADY purchased. The BARAK blessing is not progressive; it was INSTANT for Abraham and it's INSTANT for me.
Your Father is saying, 'You're signing up for more deliverance while I'm saying YOU'RE ALREADY DELIVERED. Stop going back to Egypt looking for more exodus.' Like the prodigal, you're trying to earn servant status, but He already threw the freedom party and you're still looking for the guest list.
