"I must have sin or unforgiveness blocking God's blessing and job provision for me."
How it sounds in your head: If I search my heart, there's probably something I haven't confessed or someone I haven't fully forgiven. Maybe that's why doors keep closing. God won't move until I've dealt with every hidden issue in my heart.
"And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross."
-- Colossians 2:13-14Source: religious teaching that makes provision conditional on perfect repentance and turns blessing into reward for emotional inventory.
She's heard sermons about 'getting right with God' before He moves, and introspection always finds something to confess. The formula feels logical: clean heart = open doors, so closed doors must mean unclean heart.
Jonah ran from God, got swallowed by a fish, and was ANGRY and unrepentant even after deliverance - yet God still used him to save Nineveh. Jonah's attitude didn't stop God's plan. God delivered him from the fish instantly, not after Jonah's heart was perfectly submitted.
I REFUSE the lie that hidden sin or imperfect forgiveness is blocking God's provision. IT IS WRITTEN that He has forgiven me ALL trespasses and nailed every requirement to the cross - there is NO spiritual checklist I must complete before He moves. I am under GRACE, not LAW, and Romans 8:1 declares NO CONDEMNATION. IT IS WRITTEN that while we were YET sinners, Christ died for us - He didn't wait for us to be clean, and He doesn't withhold blessing now waiting for perfect hearts. The BARAK protected murderers and liars in the Old Covenant; how much MORE does the blood of Jesus release blessing in the New? Jobs are opening NOW because of Jesus' finished work, not my finished introspection.
The Father isn't withholding your job offer until you find the last hidden sin - He's preparing the offer while you're still messy, still processing, still imperfect. While the accuser points to your heart issues, the Father points to the cross and says 'PAID IN FULL - now watch Me lavish her with blessing she didn't earn and can't block.'
