"I must have missed God's timing. The window is closed now."
How it sounds in your head: You should have acted faster or prayed harder when you first felt it. Now it's too late—the opportunity passed and you missed your chance. God gave you a window and you blew it.
"So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust."
-- Joel 2:25Religious performance teaching makes you think God's grace has deadlines and His mercy has expiration dates.
You feel like you didn't respond fast enough or 'right' enough when the thought first came. Now circumstances look worse and you think you permanently missed the moment.
The prodigal wasted YEARS in rebellion, blew his entire inheritance on prostitutes, and came back with nothing. The Father didn't say 'you missed your chance'—he RAN to him, restored him FULLY, and threw a party within minutes.
I REFUSE the lie that I missed my window. IT IS WRITTEN that God restores the years the locust has eaten—He redeems LOST TIME. I am in Christ where there is NO condemnation for perceived failures. The BARAK blessing doesn't expire when I stumble—it PROTECTED Jacob even when he DECEIVED. IT IS WRITTEN that nothing can snatch me from His hand. My Father runs toward me even when I return LATE, even when I smell like pigs. Breakthrough is available RIGHT NOW, not just in 'perfect timing' I already missed.
The Father isn't marking you 'too late'—He's been watching for your return the whole time. Like the prodigal's father who threw a party for the late arrival, your breakthrough isn't expired; it's WAITING for you to receive it.
