"I must have hidden sin blocking my breakthrough pregnancy."
How it sounds in your head: I've confessed everything I can think of, fasted, repented, yet still no baby. There must be some unconfessed sin God's waiting for me to identify before He opens my womb. Maybe I haven't prayed enough, worshiped enough, surrendered enough.
"And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross."
-- Colossians 2:13-14Religious performance lie that makes blessing conditional on perfect confession instead of finished work of Jesus.
Christian culture often teaches breakthrough comes after getting right with God, creating endless introspection to find the sin blocking blessing. When pregnancy doesn't come despite spiritual effort, it seems to confirm hidden sin exists.
Jacob stole Esau's blessing through deliberate deception of his blind father. When Isaac discovered the fraud, he trembled but declared 'I have blessed him—and he shall be blessed'—the blessing couldn't be reversed even by sin.
I REFUSE the lie that hidden sin is blocking my breakthrough. IT IS WRITTEN that God has forgiven me ALL trespasses and wiped out every requirement that was against me by nailing it to the cross. There is no sin Jesus' blood didn't cover, no confession requirement He didn't fulfill, no spiritual checklist standing between me and blessing. IT IS WRITTEN there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus—which means God isn't withholding pregnancy until I find hidden sin. The BARAK blessing protected liars, deceivers, and murderers in the Old Covenant—how much more does the blood of Jesus cover me in the New? I am not waiting for perfect confession. I am receiving based on His perfect sacrifice. My womb is not blocked by sin—it's blessed by covenant.
The Father isn't playing hide-and-seek with your sins, waiting for you to find the magic confession that unlocks blessing—He already dealt with every sin at the cross and sees you as perfectly righteous right now. He's not withholding until you get it right; He's running toward you with blessings while you still smell like the pig pen.
