"I must be in sin or out of God's will since I'm struggling financially."
How it sounds in your head: If I were really walking right with God, this wouldn't be happening. There must be some hidden sin blocking my blessing. I need to figure out what I did wrong and fix it before provision comes.
"Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree')."
-- Galatians 3:13Source: religion teaching provision is conditional reward for right behavior, making you examine yourself instead of trusting Christ.
Deuteronomy 28 gets taught as if we're still under law—blessed if obedient, cursed if not. Every struggle feels like detective work to find the sin blocking blessing.
Lied TWICE about Sarah being his sister to protect himself. God plagued the kings who took Sarah and sent Abraham away RICHER both times—blessing flowed despite the lying.
I REFUSE the lie that lack means I'm in sin or out of God's will. IT IS WRITTEN that Christ redeemed me from the curse—past tense, finished work. I'm not under law where blessing requires perfect obedience. IT IS WRITTEN that there is NOW no condemnation for those in Christ. The BARAK blessing protected Abraham the liar, Jacob the deceiver, even murderers—it's COVENANT, not behavior. My provision flows from what Jesus did, not what I did or didn't do. I receive breakthrough NOW regardless of performance.
Your Father isn't waiting for you to find and fix hidden sin—He's running toward you with provision while you're still examining yourself. The blessing isn't blocked by your behavior; it's guaranteed by covenant.
