"I mocked Christianity online and now my digital footprint proves I'm against God."
How it sounds in your head: I posted atheist memes, made fun of Christians, argued against God publicly for likes and follows. It's all still out there—screenshots, posts, comments. How can I come back when there's permanent evidence I was against Him?
"Although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief."
-- 1 Timothy 1:13Enemy using the permanence of digital records as evidence of permanent rejection, ignoring that God sees hearts, not search histories.
The public nature of your mockery feels irreversible—everyone saw it, it's searchable, and it feels like permanent proof you were God's enemy. Deleting posts doesn't erase the memory or the screenshots others took.
Paul didn't just mock Christians—he dragged them to prison and voted for their execution, making himself publicly, violently anti-Christ. Jesus appeared to him, instantly transformed him, and sent him to preach the gospel he'd spent years trying to destroy within days of conversion.
I REFUSE the lie that my public mockery of God disqualifies me from His love and calling. IT IS WRITTEN that Paul was a blasphemer and persecutor but obtained mercy—my digital footprint doesn't intimidate God. IT IS WRITTEN that if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation; old things passed away, ALL things became new. My past posts don't define my identity; Jesus does. I am Abraham's seed, covered by the BARAK blessing that isn't based on my social media history. The Father sees me as His, forgiven, and commissioned—not canceled.
The Father doesn't scroll through your social media history with a highlighter, marking your failures—He sees you clothed in Jesus' righteousness, and your new identity erases every mocking post you ever made. He's more excited about who you're becoming than ashamed of who you were.
