"I made a choice I regret, and now I've ruined my future and disappointed everyone forever."
How it sounds in your head: I made a really bad choice. I knew better but I did it anyway. Now I feel like I've permanently damaged my future. My parents are disappointed. God is disappointed. I can't undo it. What if this one decision ruins everything good that was supposed to happen? What if I missed my destiny because of this mistake?
"So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust."
-- Joel 2:25Religious lie that one mistake disqualifies you from God's plan, denying the blood of Jesus that covers ALL sin—past, present, and future.
Consequences of choices are real, and she may be experiencing discipline or disappointment from authority figures. The weight of regret feels permanent, and she's heard teachings about 'reaping what you sow' that make grace feel conditional.
Samson made TERRIBLE choices—broke his vow, slept with a prostitute, revealed God's secret to Delilah, completely lost his anointing and ended up blind and enslaved. In his final moment, God RESTORED his strength and Samson killed more enemies in his death than in his entire life. Bad choices didn't end his purpose.
I REFUSE the lie that one bad choice ruins my destiny. IT IS WRITTEN that God RESTORES the years the enemy has stolen. My regret is real, but my Father's grace is GREATER. I am not disqualified. I am not damaged goods. I am REDEEMED by the blood of Jesus, and that blood covers this choice completely. IT IS WRITTEN that there is NO CONDEMNATION for those in Christ Jesus. My parents may be disappointed, but my FATHER in heaven is running toward me with a robe and a ring. The BARAK blessing means even my mistakes get turned into miracles. God wastes NOTHING—not even my regret. My future is RESTORED.
Your Father didn't wait for you to 'prove yourself' after your mistake before restoring you—the MOMENT you turned back toward Him, He was already running with the robe. He doesn't see a ruined daughter. He sees a RETURNED daughter, and He's throwing a party, not a punishment. Your destiny is completely intact.
