"I keep attracting emotionally unavailable or broken men—something's wrong with me."
How it sounds in your head: You look at your dating history and see a pattern. Every man is unavailable, damaged, or narcissistic. It must be you—you're attracting this. You're the common denominator.
"For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly."
-- Psalm 84:11Trauma/Enemy: False responsibility for others' brokenness—making you believe you CAUSE or ATTRACT dysfunction instead of recognizing spiritual warfare.
The pattern is undeniable. Three relationships, same dynamic. Friends hint maybe you have 'daddy issues' or need therapy before dating. You feel cursed to repeat this forever.
Woman had five failed marriages and was living with a sixth man—town outcast, walking pattern of broken relationships. One conversation with Jesus, and she became the evangelist who brought the whole city to Him—instant redemption and purpose without fixing her pattern first.
I REFUSE the lie that I attract brokenness or that something is wrong with me. IT IS WRITTEN that no good thing will God withhold from me—the pattern was PROTECTION, not punishment. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, and past closed doors were His MERCY stopping me from wrong connections. IT IS WRITTEN in Romans 8:28 that all things work together for good. The woman at the well had five failed marriages and Jesus didn't make her fix her picker—He gave her instant purpose and a whole city. I stand under the BARAK—blessed coming in and going out, and my latter glory will exceed my former.
The Father hasn't been shaking His head at your choices—He's been closing doors and redirecting your steps away from men who would've destroyed you. Every 'no' was His protection, and the 'yes' is coming.
