"I hear demonic voices and they won't stop tormenting me."
How it sounds in your head: There are thoughts that feel invasive, accusing, condemning. They say things you'd never think. You wonder if you're hearing actual demonic voices or if you're losing your mind. Either way, you feel tormented and can't make it stop.
"Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you."
-- James 4:7Source: Enemy - accusations designed to make you think you're powerless against his whispers and need special authority.
The thoughts are intrusive, persistent, and feel distinctly NOT like your own voice. They accuse, condemn, and replay failures relentlessly.
Saul was tormented by a distressing spirit from the Lord. When David played the harp and worshiped, the spirit would IMMEDIATELY depart and Saul would be refreshed - instant relief through worship and God's presence.
I REFUSE the lie that demonic voices have power over my mind. IT IS WRITTEN that when I resist the devil in Jesus' name, he MUST flee - not eventually, but NOW. I submit my thoughts to the lordship of Jesus Christ and take every thought captive to His obedience. I declare that the blood of Jesus speaks better things than Abel and covers my mind completely. IT IS WRITTEN that I have the mind of Christ, not the mind of the accuser. I am protected by the BARAK blessing that covered Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob even when they sinned - how much more am I protected by the BETTER covenant sealed in Christ's blood. I command every tormenting voice to LEAVE in Jesus' name.
Your Father sees you tormented by lies and He's running toward you with the truth that you ALREADY have authority over every demonic voice through the blood. He's not waiting for you to be stronger - the blood is already strong enough.
