"I have to have it all together to lead other girls."

How it sounds in your head: You're supposed to be the example. The younger girls look up to you. If they see your mess, they'll stumble. You have to be strong for them. Leaders don't cry, don't doubt, don't struggle visibly. You're the standard. You can't afford to be real.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10

"And He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong."

-- 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
Enemy whispers: 'You have to have it all together to lead.' BUT IT IS WRITTEN: 2 Corinthians 12:9—God's strength is made PERFECT in WEAKNESS. Paul said he would BOAST in his weaknesses so Christ's power could rest on him. Not hide them. BOAST in them. Your mess isn't your disqualification—it's your PLATFORM for God's glory. IT IS WRITTEN in 1 Corinthians 1:27, 'God has chosen the FOOLISH things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the WEAK things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty.' He doesn't use you DESPITE your weakness—He uses you BECAUSE of it.
Quick Truth: LIE: Leaders have to be perfect. TRUTH: God's strength is made PERFECT in weakness. Boast in it. (2 Cor 12:9)

Religious perfectionism—leaders as superhuman instead of transparent vessels.

Why this feels true:

Every leader you see projects strength. No one talks about their struggles from the front. You've been taught that vulnerability equals weakness and leaders can't be weak. If you're real about your struggles, you believe you'll lose credibility.

2 Corinthians 11:23-30
Paul

Paul listed his weaknesses publicly—beaten, shipwrecked, stoned, starving, sleepless, anxious. He didn't hide his struggles to protect his ministry credibility. He SHARED them to show that God's power works through weakness. His transparency didn't disqualify him—it authenticated him.

Speak this out loud

I REFUSE the lie that I have to be perfect to lead. IT IS WRITTEN that God's strength is made PERFECT in my weakness. My struggles aren't my disqualification—they're my TESTIMONY that His grace is sufficient. IT IS WRITTEN that God chooses the WEAK things to shame the mighty. I am not the standard—JESUS is. I'm just a cracked pot leaking His light. Under the BARAK blessing, I am blessed not because I'm flawless but because I'm in COVENANT. I receive the courage to be real, knowing my honesty will set others free, not make them stumble.

But God actually:

Your Father isn't demanding perfection before He uses you. He's the God who used Paul's weakness as his greatest sermon, who chose fishermen and tax collectors—messy, imperfect people. He's not waiting for you to get it all together. He's inviting you to lead FROM your weakness so others see HIS strength.
