Maybe after you prove yourself faithful in small things for a few years, serve quietly, don't make waves, show you've learned your lesson—THEN maybe He'll restore what you lost.

Church culture treats divorced people like recovering addicts—welcome to attend but not to serve, smile at you but don't hand you the microphone. She's internalized this 'prove yourself' mentality as God's heart instead of the elder brother's.
Denied Jesus THREE TIMES with cursing, ran away during the crucifixion, went back to fishing in defeat. Jesus didn't put him on probation—He cooked him breakfast, restored him with three 'feed my sheep' commissions, and made him the foundation of the early church. Immediate restoration, no waiting period.
I REFUSE the lie that I have to earn back God's trust! The Father isn't making you earn back His trust—He's running toward you with the robe of righteousness already in His hands, offended that you thought you had to prove anything. His trust in you isn't based on your performance; it's based on His Son's blood.
