"I gave my best years to the wrong person and now I'll never get them back."
How it sounds in your head: You gave him your youth, your beauty, your prime dating years. Everyone says these are the years men want you most, and you spent them on someone who wasted them. Now you're damaged goods entering a market that values youth above everything.
"Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, and instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; everlasting joy shall be theirs."
-- Isaiah 61:7World's lie that female value decreases with age combined with religious purity culture that treats past relationships like permanent stains.
She literally can't get those years back—the calendar moved forward, the relationship happened, the time passed. Dating culture and church purity teaching both tell her she's now less valuable, less desirable, less marriageable.
Five failed marriages, currently living with a man, collecting water alone because the other women rejected her. One conversation with Jesus and she became the first evangelist to her entire city—her broken relational history became her PULPIT for bringing a town to salvation.
I REFUSE the lie that I gave my best years to the wrong person and I'm diminished. IT IS WRITTEN that instead of my shame I have DOUBLE honor, instead of confusion I possess DOUBLE blessing. No relationship, no person, no season can reduce what the Father has declared over me. I am the righteousness of God in Christ, and my value comes from HIM, not from my relationship history or my age. IT IS WRITTEN that He makes all things new, and I receive DOUBLE for every year I thought was lost. I am Abraham's seed and the BARAK blessing protects me, provides for me, and prospers me regardless of my past. I am MORE valuable, MORE radiant, MORE blessed NOW than ever before.
The Father looks at every year you think was wasted and says, 'Watch Me turn this into DOUBLE BLESSING.' He's not adding up your relationship history—He's running toward you with a ring that declares you CHOSEN, wanted, His beloved daughter worth the feast.
