I REFUSE the lie that my emotions exhaust people! IT IS WRITTEN that we are to bear one another's burdens—my feelings aren't 'too much,' they're an invitation to connection! My tears aren't a burden to Him; they're PRECIOUS. The BARAK blessing covers my emotional world—I am blessed in my coming in and going out, and that includes coming with ALL my feelings. I am not emotionally exhausting; I am EMOTIONALLY ALIVE!
The Father doesn't sigh when you show up with big feelings and messy tears. He's pulling you onto His lap, holding you close, and whispering, 'Tell me EVERYTHING'—because your heart is safe with Him, and nothing you feel is too much for His love.
