"I don't work or earn money, so I don't deserve to receive anything from God."
How it sounds in your head: I'm just a kid. I don't have a job or contribute financially. God probably only provides for people who work hard and earn it. I haven't done anything to deserve His blessing.
"Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?"
-- Matthew 6:26World system: provision tied to earning, deserving, and working—grace completely removed, replaced with merit-based theology.
She sees adults working for money and assumes God operates the same way: you work, you get paid. No work means no provision, even from Heaven.
Isaac didn't earn the blessing through labor—he INHERITED it from Abraham by birth. He sowed and reaped a HUNDREDFOLD in the same year, became extremely wealthy, not because he worked harder than others, but because COVENANT BLESSING was on his life from day one.
I REFUSE the lie that I must work to deserve God's provision! IT IS WRITTEN in Matthew 6:26 that my Father feeds the birds who don't work, and I'm worth MORE than birds! I don't earn blessing—I INHERIT it as Abraham's seed (Galatians 3:29). Isaac was blessed from BIRTH, before any labor, because the BARAK is COVENANT, not wages. IT IS WRITTEN in Romans 4:4-5 that to those who don't work but believe, faith is counted as righteousness! I receive provision as a DAUGHTER, not an employee. My value isn't in what I produce but in WHOSE I am!
Your Father doesn't have a timecard for you to punch before He provides—He feeds birds who never apply for jobs, and you're His DAUGHTER, infinitely more valuable! His provision flows from relationship, not employment.
