"I don't have what it takes to handle this season. I'm crumbling under the pressure."
How it sounds in your head: Teenagers, aging parents, financial strain, marriage feeling like roommates, your body betraying you—it's all too much. Other women seem to carry these loads with grace. You're barely holding it together. You don't have the strength, wisdom, or energy this season demands.
"He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."
-- Isaiah 40:29-31Enemy accusation exploiting real exhaustion, amplified by cultural expectation that women should effortlessly carry all things.
You ARE tired. You DO feel overwhelmed. The sandwich generation pressure is real—kids still need you, parents now need you, husband needs you, work needs you. You went to bed exhausted and woke up exhausted. The evidence seems clear: you lack what this season requires.
Elijah was so depleted he asked to die, collapsed under a tree, and couldn't go on. An angel appeared, gave him food, and that ONE MEAL gave him supernatural strength to walk 40 days and nights to Mount Horeb without eating again—instant infusion of divine energy.
I REFUSE the lie that I lack what this season requires. IT IS WRITTEN that He gives power to the weak and increases strength to those with no might. I am not collapsing under this load—I am MOUNTING UP with wings like eagles, running without weariness, walking without fainting. IT IS WRITTEN that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. His strength is not rationed or running low. I am a BRANCH connected to an inexhaustible VINE. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in me, and He is MORE than enough for every demand of this season.
The Father sees your exhaustion and isn't disappointed—He's already prepared the supernatural strength you need, like the angel bringing food to Elijah. He's not waiting for you to muster more willpower; He's offering to carry the weight you were never meant to bear alone, infusing you with resurrection power for this exact moment.
