"I don't have the gift of faith like other people do"
How it sounds in your head: Some women just have powerful faith—they pray and things happen. I've never been like that. God gave them the gift of faith and not me. I'm just ordinary, so I shouldn't expect miracles.
"For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith."
-- Romans 12:3Religion created a two-tier system where some believers get 'special faith' and others are left with scraps.
She's watched certain people pray with authority and see results, heard teaching on 'the gift of faith' as if it's distributed unequally, making her feel like a second-class believer without access.
She wasn't a pastor, prophet, or prayer warrior—she was a sick, broke, ceremonially unclean outcast who spent all her money on doctors. Yet her ordinary, desperate faith ('If I just touch His garment') brought INSTANT healing, and Jesus called it 'faith' that made her whole.
I REFUSE the lie that I lack the gift of faith. IT IS WRITTEN that God dealt to EACH ONE a measure of faith—I have the same faith as the apostles. The nameless woman with the issue of blood had no title, no platform, no special anointing—just desperate touch—and Jesus called her faith powerful. I am the righteousness of God in Christ, covered by the BARAK blessing that didn't require special gifting—just covenant position. IT IS WRITTEN I have been given ALL things that pertain to life and godliness. My faith is sufficient because HIS faithfulness is infinite. The Father doesn't have favorites.
The Father isn't reserving miracles for the spiritually elite—He's running toward ordinary, desperate, broken people just like the woman who touched His garment in a crowd. Your 'ordinary' faith is exactly what He uses.
