"I don't have enough time left to fulfill God's purpose for my life."
How it sounds in your head: You're in your seventies. The good years are behind you. Whatever you were supposed to do, you should have done it by now. Friends are dying. Your own health is declining. You missed your window. God's plan required youth and energy you no longer have, and now it's too late.
"They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing."
-- Psalm 92:14Enemy lie assigning expiration dates to divine purpose, contradicting God's timeless authority over seasons and assignments.
The calendar is undeniable—you have fewer years ahead than behind. The obituaries are full of people your age. Society discards the elderly as irrelevant, and you feel that marginalization in every interaction.
Moses was 80 years old—EIGHTY—when God sent him to confront Pharaoh and deliver an entire nation from slavery. His greatest assignment didn't even START until the age most people are dead, and he led for 40 MORE YEARS after that.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm too old or too late for God's purpose. IT IS WRITTEN that I shall still bear fruit in old age, fresh and flourishing. God doesn't measure purpose by calendar years—He measures it by COVENANT. I am a BRANCH abiding in the VINE, and fruit comes automatically regardless of age. IT IS WRITTEN that He who began a good work in me will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus. The BARAK blessing doesn't expire—I am blessed coming in and going out, at 75 just as at 25. My best fruit may be ahead, not behind. I have time for every assignment God prepared in advance for me to walk in TODAY.
The Father isn't looking at your age and sighing about missed opportunities. He's RUNNING toward you with fresh assignments perfectly designed for THIS decade, assignments that require the exact wisdom, authority, and seasoning you have RIGHT NOW that you didn't have at 30.
