Not Enough
"I don't have enough energy, strength, or ability left to do what God wants from me."

How it sounds in your head: You're in your sixties now. The best years are behind you. You're slowing down, forgetting things, running out of steam. God uses young men with strength and stamina, not guys who need naps and can't remember where they put their keys.

Isaiah 40:29-31

"He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."

-- Isaiah 40:29-31
Enemy whispers: You're too old, too tired, too weak. BUT IT IS WRITTEN: Isaiah 40:29-31 - He GIVES power to the weak and INCREASES strength to those with no might. Young men fall, but YOU mount up with wings like eagles. Your natural strength is irrelevant—HIS strength is made perfect in YOUR weakness. He didn't retire you. He PROMOTED you to a new assignment that runs on HIS power, not yours.
Quick Truth: LIE: I'm too weak and old to matter. TRUTH: He gives power to the weak; your strength renews like eagles (Isa 40:31)

Source: World system that worships youth and measures worth by productivity and physical capacity.

Why this feels true:

Your body literally doesn't do what it used to—you feel it every morning. Retirement stripped the title that made you somebody, and now you're watching younger men do what you once did but can't anymore.

Joshua 14:10-12
Caleb

Caleb was 85 years old when he declared, 'I am as strong this day as on the day Moses sent me; just as my strength was then, so now is my strength for war.' He demanded the mountain with the giants and drove them out. Age was irrelevant—God's promise made him unstoppable.

Speak this out loud

I REFUSE the lie that I'm too old, too tired, or running out of time. IT IS WRITTEN that He gives power to the weak and increases strength to those with no might. I am NOT measured by my physical capacity but by HIS unlimited power flowing through me. IT IS WRITTEN that even youths faint, but I who wait on the Lord RENEW my strength. I am an heir of Abraham's BARAK—the blessing that made 100-year-old Abraham a father and 90-year-old Sarah a mother. My best years are NOT behind me—they are RIGHT NOW because God's strength is perfected in my weakness.

But God actually:

The Father isn't looking at your tired body and writing you off—He's running toward you with NEW assignments that require HIS strength, not yours. Like the prodigal's father who RAN (undignified for his age) to embrace his son, your Father is SPRINTING toward you with fresh purpose that bypasses your limitations entirely.
