"I don't belong in rooms with successful people - someone will realize I'm out of my league."
How it sounds in your head: You're the odd man out. Everyone else deserves their seat at the table, but you slipped in through a side door. One wrong comment and they'll see you don't belong with the real players.
"And you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power."
-- Colossians 2:10World system that ranks humans by achievement and creates hierarchies of belonging based on performance metrics.
Decades of comparing yourself to others created an internal ranking system where you always fall short. Without the armor of a job title, you feel naked and exposed in social settings.
Mephibosheth was crippled, hiding in obscurity, son of a dead traitor's family. David brought him INSTANTLY to the king's table permanently - not for anything he did, but because of covenant with his grandfather Jonathan.
I REFUSE the lie that I don't belong in rooms with successful people. IT IS WRITTEN that I am complete in Christ who is head of ALL principality and power. I am not trying to earn a seat - I'm already seated with Christ in heavenly places far above all earthly rooms. The BARAK blessing gives me access that performance never could. IT IS WRITTEN that I'm an heir of God and joint-heir with Christ. I belong anywhere Father places me because HIS blood bought my seat, not my résumé.
Father sees you like David saw Mephibosheth - bringing you to the table not because you earned it, but because of covenant blood. Your place is PERMANENT, not probationary.
