"I deserve to be disinherited because of the choices I made and relationships I damaged."
How it sounds in your head: They have every right to cut you out. The divorce, the estrangement from your kids, the choices that embarrassed the family. You broke trust. You damaged relationships. Disinheritance is just the consequence you earned.
"I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; and I will not remember your sins."
-- Isaiah 43:25Religious punishment theology partnering with family shame and enemy accusation—reaping what you sow as perpetual penalty.
The broken relationships are real. The disappointed looks. The family events you're not invited to. You DID make those choices. You DID cause that pain. Maybe exclusion is justice.
Peter denied Jesus THREE TIMES publicly after swearing he never would, cursed and swore he didn't know Him. After resurrection, Jesus didn't disinherit him—He REINSTATED him, gave him the keys to the kingdom, and built the church on him.
I REFUSE the lie that I deserve disinheritance because of past choices or damaged relationships. IT IS WRITTEN that God blots out my transgressions for HIS OWN SAKE and remembers my sins no more. There is NO CONDEMNATION for those in Christ. IT IS WRITTEN that Peter denied Jesus three times and was fully reinstated. The prodigal destroyed everything and was celebrated. I am not defined by what I broke but by what Jesus RESTORED. The BARAK blessing protected LIARS and DECEIVERS—how much more does Christ's blood cover me? I am HEIR regardless of past.
While you're writing yourself out of the will because of shame, the Father is writing your name IN PERMANENT INK in the Lamb's Book of Life saying, 'This is MY CHILD—full heir, full rights, full inheritance, regardless of what they did.'
